COMFORTABLE PACE, HELMET OPTIONAL, FULL DAY URBAN EXPLORATION, AND FOOD I started this group for the more leisurely paced rider who enjoys riding slower like I do, but who enjoys exploring in and around NYC for day-long adventures. A typical ride would start at 11am and include about 30 miles (4-5 hours) of riding time plus a few hours of stopping to relax or eat, the riding would be at about an average comfortable 7-8 mph pace - this is in contrast to many other groups that expect a 12 mph mini …
Do you live in Long Island City? Are you in your mid-late 20s or early 30s? Are you interested in meeting others who live in the neighborhood? Then you should join this group! I'm looking to make this a group mostly for people out of college but not necessarily "settled down"/starting a family already (it seems like 90% of the people in my building are already married with kids). I live by the waterfront/Gantry Park off the Vernon/Jackson stop, but people from other areas of LIC, and even Astori …

This group is for people who want to experience many Asian foods and drinks with a focus on pub style cuisine. Mainly basement sake bars and yakitori spots. But Izakaya is an umbrella group description as I have other events planned outside what would be described as an Izakaya. Things like tea & dessert, Korean BBQ, any local Far East events like movies and concerts. Also its not so much an "exchange" as you won't find any American style bars/eateries on the agenda. Sharing language and cultur …

This group was made for single Brooklyn locals in their 20s, 30s and early 40s to commingle with each other. I am a single lady in Brooklyn who refuses to do online dating. I am also an event organizer and think get togethers are the best way to meet new people, whether for friends, dating or LTRs. I have a lot of single friends around my age (I am 28) and we always like to just get together, talk, eat, have a few drinks, share a few stories and laughs, and just have an overall good time. So I d …
